Stanford Alumni in Appalachia aims to engage and enlist the support of various alumni (read: heroes) invested in the prosperity of Appalachian cities, towns and families, and to offer feasible rebuilding solutions for regions economically and sociomedically devastated by myriad influences in recent years (i.e., the decline of the coal industry, the egregious influx of opioids and the impact of COVID-19).
