Insider Event at Saatchi Art: Focus on L.A. Emerging Artists

Join Stanford alumni at CONSTRUCTED, an exiting new exhibition curated by Saatchi Art curator Victoria Kennedy '14. The show presents recent works by 13 emerging artists including Aili Schmeltz, Aimee Thieu, Benjamin Adelmann, Connor Gewirtz, Javiera Estrada, Jonni Cheatwood, Karen Clark, Michael Spence, Mike Weber, Minas Halaj, Raul de la Torre, Sasoon Markarian and Valerie Wilcox. These 13 Los Angeles-based artists defy the traditional boundaries of their mediums and challenge the physicality of their artistic practice. Working in a variety of materials, from fabric to neon to metal, each artist shares an interest in exploring the work of art as a carefully constructed object.
