Senior Class PresidentsRepresenting the Voice Of the Senior Class

The Senior Class Presidents, advised by the Stanford Alumni Association, represent the voice of the Senior Class and are responsible for creating class affinity and cohesion. They plan class programs and encourage school spirit through their hard work, commitment and creativity.

Hannah Maria Basali

Hannah, from Cleveland Ohio, is pursuing a major in Political Science with a focus in Justice and Law and International Relations. She will also earn minors in History and Iberian and Latin American Cultures and plans to attend law school after graduating from Stanford. At Stanford, Hannah is passionate about creating a class-wide and inter-class student community and fostering relations between student groups. Hannah has served as class president for the past two years and looks forward to creating a valuable senior year for her classmates through her final year in student leadership.

Michael Amrit Chhay

Michael is a senior studying aeronautics/astronautics and computer science. He is interested in the intersection of autonomous software and self-operating spacecraft/deep space travel. Michael has served as class president for the past three years and on frosh council. Some other groups at Stanford that Michael dedicates time to are Camp Kesem, Club Water Polo, and Phi Kappa Psi. In his free time, Michael enjoys getting boba with friends, exercising, surfing, and gaming! 

Easha Nandyala

Class of '24 English major, part of Triathlon Club and Class President at Stanford University, outside of school she's a successful singer-songwriter and plans to pursue it as a career.

Jack Joseph Scala

Jack is a senior majoring in biochemistry and biophysics. He has enjoyed contributing to student government throughout his four years at Stanford, from serving as a Frosh Council Representative to Sophomore, Junior, and now Senior Class President. Jack has also dedicated his time at Stanford to researching new cancer therapies in the Snyder and Frank Labs, as well as serving as a Teaching Assistant for the COVID-19 Elective at Stanford Medicine. Outside of class, Jack enjoys reading on Meyer Green, recruiting his friends to try new restaurants in Palo Alto, and exploring the Bay Area.
