For all ages, enjoy the fall season and beauty of the Potomac River. Join us either for a 2.1 mile stroll on the towpath, or hike on the 1.75 mile Billy Goat Trail A (strenuous trail involving much scrambling over rocks), to Old Angler’s Inn. There, we can stop for refreshments before heading back via the towpath.
Note: this is an approximately 4 mile round trip and, as an alternative, some may want to coordinate a car shuttle back to the Tavern.
RSVP so the organizers know who to expect to meet at the Tavern and are able to contact you if the weather forecast becomes questionable.
