The Future: Terrorism and Law Enforcement

Since 9/11 several trillion dollars have been spent to make our homeland secure. The panel will focus on whether this expenditure has succeeded and what measures might be necessary and prudent in the future. Your perspective will be solicited and your participation as a Stanford alum or friend appreciated.

A piece Brian Jenkins wrote on Iraq is HERE. Jenkins is a senior adviser to the president of the Rand Corporation, a former covert CIA operator and Green Beret. National security is one aspect of the RAND Corporation’s mission of research and analysis to improve policy and decisionmaking.

The Commander's House at Fort Douglas, on the University of Utah campus has 18 two-hour parking spots behind the building and additional parking adjacent to the University Guest House, a short walk north. Easiest approach is to enter Fort Douglas at the light at Mario Capecchi and South Campus drives, turn left to cross the top of the drill practice field, pass the museum and bandstand.
