The Washington D.C. Stanford Association and the Stanford Alumni Association are proud to announce the next installment of the WDCSA Faculty Speakers Series.  Join us at Stanford in Washington for a conversation with Stanford Professor Simon Jackman as he discusses the dominant campaign themes of the economy, race and social values, as well as their impact on the upcoming election and the future of American politics and policy-making.  Professor Jackman is a professor of political science and (by courtesy) statistics.  His recent research has investigated the Internet as a platform to better track the evolution of public opinion and produce more politically relevant assessments of American political attitudes.  Professor Jackman co-directs the Stanford Center for American Democracy and is one of the principal investigators of the American National Election Studies, 2010-2013.
