Join your fellow alumni to hear current Stanford students discuss their inspiring efforts to raise funds and awareness for the fight against AIDS while cycling across the country. Light refreshements and hors d'oeuvres will be provided and there is no fee to attend this event.
The team, which is triple the size of last year's team, will stop by Stanford in Washington during their summer-long bike ride from Stanford to Boston to present their roles as students in the fight against AIDS. As the group rides across the country, they stop at local high schools, Rotary clubs, churches, and other organizations to present on AIDS in Africa. FACE AIDS, a student group founded at Stanford in 2005, is committed to fighting AIDS by building a global movement of youth dedicated to social justice and global health equity.
